As I mentioned in my previous article that Devil fruits ensure a key role in the One Piece world. There are different kinds of Devil Fruits and in my previous article I have given a brief on Paramecia type Devil Fruit, so now its time to give some detailed information on the Legendary Logia type Devil Fruits.
Logia type Devil Fruits are indeed very powerful as they can the form of the user and helps them to merge with the power. By using the power of the Logia type Devil Fruit, the user becomes untouchable unless and until the opponent uses Armament Haki (Making a part or the full body very tough for any physical attacks) In the One Piece verse, there are many major characters who have this Devil Fruit’s power.
Here comes Top 10 Logia type Devil Fruits users. Of course this ranking is according to me after researching –
10. MOKU MOKU NO MI (Smoke Smoke Fruit)
The power of this fruit is used by Smoker, the Marine Vice Admiral. He was introduced in episode 48. The title of the episode was “Loguetown : The Town of Beginnings and Ends”.
He, with the help of this devil fruit almost caught Monkey D’ Luffy and was about to arrest him, but somehow Luffy manages to escape as he was assisted by his father.This fruit allows the user to turn into smoke. He can turn any part or his full body to smoke, which also helps him to fly like smoke and travel in great speed.
9. YUKI YUKI NO MI (Snow Snow Fruit)
The power of this fruit is used by Monet. Monet used to work with Caesar Clown in his lab.Monet was introduced in the series in episode 581 in Punk Hazard Arc. She can transform herself into a hybrid creature of a bird and human. While she uses her devil fruit power, she can grow wings instead of her arms, can make a bird like sharp legs and can also grow a bird tail full of feathers. Doflamingo sent her to be as a secretary of Caesar Clown but secretly.
She can create barriers of snow storm and by mixing with the snow storm, she can make herself invisible while battle. She can also use different snow and ice type attacks which includes, freezing and snow blizzard. She was later cut into half by Zoro.
8. NUMA NUMA NO MI (Swamp Swamp Fruit)
The power of this fruit is used by Caribou. He was introduced in the series in episode 519. This Devil Fruit helps the user to turn themselves into semi liquid form.
It helps the user to hide or keep anything inside it. In the Fishman Arc, he stole important things from them and he hid it perfectly inside the swamp like body he made. This power is great for storing anything inside and to hide from enemies.
7. SUNA SUNA NO MI (Sand Sand Fruit)
This is a very interesting Devil Fruit which was used by the main villain in the Alabaster Arc. The user of this Devil Fruit is Crocodile (A former warlord of the sea). It has the power to control sand.
It is also used to soak the water from the enemy’s body and dehydrate them. As by the name, you could get that it can also create huge sand barriers and sand storms. And as it is a Logia Type Devil Fruit, the user can also turn itself into sand and avoid attacks.
6. MERA MERA NO MI (Flame Flame Fruit)
The is one of the most powerful Devil Fruits, and the user is very very close to Luffy.
The name of the user is Portgas D. Ace. You can also call him the Flame Emperor. The power of this fruit is very dangerous, it can create huge explosions, flame walls and can destroy an entire fleet of marine ship in one shot.Later after ace died, this fruit was kept as a prize in a fighting competition. It was won by Sabo (The 2nd in command in the Revolutionary Army).
5. GASU GASU NO MI (Gas Gas Fruit)
This fruit is used by Caesar the clown. He used to operate a illegal lab making artificial Devil Fruits. It can manipulate any type of gas, be it poisonous or even oxygen. While fighting with an enemy, it blocks the oxygen around the enemy and suffocates them to death. Caesar uses it in his experiments. He was later defeated by Luffy and got caught.
4. GORO GORO NO MI (Rumble Rumble Fruit)
When this fruit’s power was initially introduced, everyone thought that the user is invincible.
The user of tis fruit is Enel – The self-proclaimed god of Skypea. It has the power of lightning and thunder. It can transform itself into a lightning and can travel from place to place in a very high speed.
3. HIE HIE NO MI (Ice Ice Fruit)
The legendary Devil Fruit’s user is one of the three Admirals of the Navy, Kuzan.
It has the power of ice; it can create ice roads above the sea water. He was some very destructive raw power as he was a former student of navy hero, Monkey D’ Garp. Later in the One piece series, he fought his master Garp and defeated him in a very high voltage battle. When he fights, half of his body becomes icy.
2. PIKA PIKA NO MI (Light Light Fruit)
The legendary Devil Fruit’s user is one of the three Admirals of the Navy, Borsalino.
It has the power of light. It helps the user to attack in the speed of light. It can create different types of light attacks which are very destructive and powerful. With the help of tis Devil Fruit’s powers, the user can fly and can attack from above.
MAGU MAGU NO MI (Magma Magma Fruit)The legendary Devil Fruit’s user is one of the three Admirals of the Navy, Sakazuki. It has the power of Magma. It helps the user to turn its any part of the boy into magma.
In Marineford Arc, he killed many pirates with its power and also killed Ace. Later when the Fleet Admiral retired from his post, he fought with Kuzan to become the next Fleet Admiral.
CONCLUSION
Among all the different types of Devil Fruits, Logia type is one of most common fruit which is used by the pirates and the navy The power of this fruit is very destructive as it helps the user to transform themselves into respective elements.
But as you know, if there is a positive side, there has to be a negative side as well. It also has some enemies, that is sea water, Armament Haki and sea prism stones. If a user has a high command on his/her Haki, then it can use its power to its full extent.
