In this part we will talk about the rest of the story of the secrets about shadow clone jutsu which is covered in part 1 of Hidden secret of shadow clone jutsu article.

So, let’s get started.

The Forbidden Nature: Why is it Kinjutsu?

High-level Jounin techniques consist of the Standard Shadow Clone Jutsu. However, it is not banned. The use of Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu (Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) is forbidden as it’s indicated by the Scroll of Seals; the only difference between this forbidden technique and a standard Jounin using his Shadow Clone is the number of clones that he or she created. For instance, when executing a feint move on his opponent,an elite ninja Kakashi Hatake can use Shadow Clone to make about 1-3 clones. However, creating clones beyond this number, which includes creating dozens or hundreds or otherwise thousands, divides the user’s chakra to extremely minuscule fractions. It is like that of a normal human shinobi if they divide their chakra into 1000 parts, the chakra will drop to below the minimum required life support level. Chakra exhaustion would cause them to die the moment at hand.

Why does Naruto survive?
The average shinobi in the Naruto verse will probably not have a merry end in the ninja world since even during peace one dies.

1.Uzumaki Lineage:
We all know that the Uzumaki clan in the Naruto verse, are known for their extremely strong life force and abnormally large chakra reserves. In the series, we can see that if anyone bites Karin Uzumaki they are healed in an exceptional way.

2.The NineTails( Kurama) Jinchuriki:
Kurama was sealed into Naruto so,not the other way around here. Naruto has to learn to use Kurama’s power actively. But, before that, Kurama’s enormous chakra passively leaking into Naruto led to the expansion of the pathways in Naruto’s chakra system in his childhood.

Naruto’s chakra pool is around a hundred times bigger than any standard elite Jonin. He can divide his chakra in a thousand ways and still have enough life force to fight.

The Ultimate Training Hack: Memory and Experience Transfer:

During the first half of the series, Shadow Clones were basically brawlers for Naruto. Due to Kakashi Hatake, this ninja proved this was Tobirama’s great invention of the Naruto: Shippuden era. According to Kakashi, the key thing about this jutsu is that whatever your Shadow Clone learns, feels or experiences is transferred back to you when he pops. My thoughts become a little clearer when that clone reading the book disappears.Kakashi thinks Naruto might be able to use these secrets to skip his training for a few years.Naruto should master wind nature, to perform a S-rank jutsu wind style: rasenshuriken. By creating 1,000 Shadow Clones and telling them all to simultaneously attempt to cut leaves using wind chakra, he got 1,000 hours of experience from 1 hour of real time.

The Cost of the Hack :
This training was extremely risky. When a clone disappears it not only gives memories and physical experiences it also gives mental and physical fatigue. It shows an excellent illustration of its function. After many hours of intensive chakra manipulations, when a thousand clones popped out, Naruto’s original body looked like a barrel of exhaustion.Naruto frequently collapsed and need medical interference with the help of Sakura and Yamato help Naruto to prevent the Nine-Tails’ chakra from overpowering him due to a weakened mind.Naruto’s discovery of a new technique , to use his Shadow Clone Jutsu in a very unique way. Typically, the clone receives one-third of Naruto’s chakra from the Jutsu, but Naruto created a clone using all of it. For this training Naruto mastered wind manipulation in a few days and also revolutionized his combat capabilities.

Tactical Evolution: From Brawler to Grandmaster
As Naruto grew up from “genin” to becoming the symbol of hope for all of ninja,he

developed his use of shadow clones from simply being an attack (or simply being a tool for unashamedly spamming attacks) to highly coordinated, layered attack style that resembled more traditional warfare.

The Rasengan Crutch:
At the start, Naruto did not have good control of his chakra and could not form the Rasengan, which is a spinning ball of concentrated chakra, created by his father, the Fourth Hokage (Minato Namikaze).

To make up for this, Naruto cleverly used a Shadow Clone to physically stabilize the Rasengan; the original Naruto used the chakra to make the ball, while the clone used its hands to hold and spin the ball of chakra. Later, when Naruto developed the Rasenshuriken, two shadow clones were needed for this new move, one for the form manipulation and one for nature manipulation. The Shadow Clone served as Naruto’s means of compensating for his lack of natural control.

Sage Mode Gathering:
In the Pain Arc of Naruto Shippuden,Naruto went to Mount Myōboku to learn Sage jutsu. To enter this state, a person or shinobi must be in perfect stillness to draw natural energy from their surroundings. This can’t be done while you’re fighting. To resolve this problem, Naruto used his Shadow Clones to sit perfectly still at Mount Myoboku and he would recall one of them as soon as he ran out of Sage chakra during the Battle of the Leaf Village by summoning it with a scroll and releasing it instantly. The natural energy the clone collected would be transferred to his body, thus fully restoring his Sage Mode at that very instant. This technique was a very great battle strategy that allowed Naruto to beat Pain.

Naruto used clones in his more recent battles, such as with Kakuzu, Pain, and Kaguya Otsutsuki, for psychological warfare because the enemies were more likely to believe that they were fighting the real Naruto instead of a clone, and would therefore have to keep an eye out for where the real Naruto was hiding (he would hide himself inside of a finished weapon orhidehimselfunderneathsome rocks). He would kill several of his own clones just to psychologically condition his enemy into dropping their guard, and then he would come in out of nowhere and deliver the Fatal blow or attack from behind at an angle where they were unable to see him.

Worldwide Battlefield Presence:
The peak of the shadow clone jutsu’s use was in the Fourth great ninja war. With the nine tails chakra mode unlocked, naruto created many powerful clones and sent them across the entire world to fight in the war.
The each clone was capable of defeating Kage-level reanimated shinobi, as well as the White Zetsu armies. This made Naruto a one-man army and he changed the course of the war on many different fronts at once. The toll that the physical and mental aspects of dealing with the atrocities and fatigue of a world war through his own clones took on Naruto were almost enough to break him, but they helped to show the incredible amount of growth he had accomplished.

While Other people that have used the Jutsu in addition to Naruto ,Although Naruto is considered by almost all to be the best user of this jutsu ever, because it is so useful, many other high level shinobi.Throughout history have used this jutsu, although not very often.

Kakashi Hatake: Many times creates only one clone to test what the enemy can do and likes to have the clone get killed in a trap instead of getting killed himself.

Boruto Uzumaki:Naruto’s son learned the jutsu before even entering the Academy.

Lacking the Kurma’s huge amount of reserves of chakra, Boruto is typically limited to three or four clones.
Konohamaru Sarutobi: Naruto’s favourite student and he utilizes the jutsu as the same as the technique that Naruto taught him, which is the Rasengan.

The analysis of the “Shadow Clone Jutsu” (Shadow Clone Technique) in the narrative framework and context of the Naruto series makes it evident that the technique provides a powerful “metaphorical”representation of Naruto’s “character.
Naruto started out totally on his own. He was excited to find a family and to feel like he belonged somewhere in a community. It is quite poetic because his first technique is what made him into a huge ninja! It is ironic that the technique he developed produced clones of himself! (the lonely kid has the power to create copies of himself totally out of thin air to fill a room)!
The Shadow Clone Jutsu Naruto learned from the Forbidden Scroll was basically the driving force behind everything that came after. Through the use of his Shadow Clones, Naruto was able to save his Academy Teacher, was able to pass the Genin Exams, was able to completely change the way that Shinobi used their time to train, and ultimately, thanks to the Shadow Clone Jutsu, save the world…Though Tobirama Senju created the Shadow Clone Jutsu as a way to perform espionage in the shadows, Naruto Naruto brought the Shadow Clone Jutsu into the light and used the Shadow Clone Jutsu to represent perseverance/unity/indomitable will.
